IT System Analyst
The primary place of performance shall be at the Department of Homeland Securitys (DHS) Office of Homeland Security Statistics (OHSS) Government Facility at 2703 Martin Luther King Jr Ave SE Washington DC 20593 between the hours of 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM ET Monday through Friday (except federal holidays). Telework may be permitted if approved by the client.
EMKS is seeking an IT System Analyst to support the modernization of the DHS OHSS report production process. This role focuses on designing documenting and enhancing report automation workflows that improve the timeliness accuracy and efficiency of OHSS statistical reporting to Congress federal agencies and the public. The analyst will work closely with OHSS leadership and project stakeholders to assess requirements research and recommend industry best practices assist with automation strategy development and support implementing scalable IT solutions. Key responsibilities include documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs) tracking postmeeting actions and decisions supporting quality assurance and contributing to technical problem resolution. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills experience in business process automation and a collaborative approach to driving innovation in government reporting systems.

NOTE: General work experience may be substituted for education. The requirement for education levels can be substituted at the rate of 2 years of experience for every year of education. An associates degree is 2 years of education a Bachelors degree is 4 years of education and a Masters degree is 6 years of education. The years of specific experience used for satisfying an education requirement cannot also be used to fill the work experience requirement.
Clearance:
Public Trust or equivalent clearance is desired. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
