Job Description

Essential Functions:
Develops and implements roadmaps resourcing project scheduling and oversight and process improvements for team and function
Identifies gaps and sets technical strategy for the team
Participates in crossfunctional initiatives and leadership meetings
Drives the evolution of engineering standards and practices across the
department
Provides technical guidance and mentoring to engineers identifying individual growth needs for engineers
Accomplish results through professional employees by setting project timelines priorities based on project objectives and oversight of ongoing assignments.
Attract select and retain highlevel talent through active participation in performance management and professional development of team members.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field with 8 years of relevant experience and 2 years of management experience or
combination of education and experience
Proficiency in more than one major programming language
Deep understanding of the foundation of software engineering principles
including system design architecture and development practices
Proven success in a fastpaced development environment with a focus on improving development practices and processes to enhance team efficiency
collaboration and code quality in a largescale organization
Proven success as a coach and mentor of technical staff
Ability to motivate yourself and others prioritize your own work and adapt and thrive in a dynamic team environment
Excellent problem solving decisionmaking and interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and nontechnical audiences
Desired:
Experience with Ruby on Rails
Experience with React
Experience with the AWS or Salesforce Platform particularly developing managed packages as a part of the ISV Partner Program
