What Youll Do:
Education:
Required: BS ME EE IE
Preferred: BS in Management & Engineering
Experience Required:
10 years experience in a manufacturing support or developmental role for technical processes products and equipment
5 years of experience in a supervisory role
Must complete OJT for specific job classification as required in a timely manner
Preferred:
2 years experience in optical fiber cable or plastics manufacturing processes
2 years experience managing Engineering or Maintenance personnel
Skills/Attributes:
Leadership abilities.
Ability to prioritize and maintain focus for both the individual and the department as a whole in a rapidly changing manufacturing environment.
Analytical technical problem solver.
Meets objectives with no supervision.
Motivated team player with a professional and positive attitude.
Able to learn new technical skills quickly.
Results oriented and careful about documentation of work.
Ability to communicate technical issues to all levels of the organization.
Willing to work overtime and flexible hours including holidays to support emergencies and planned maintenance activities.
