What we are looking for:
The Business Support Officer will play a crucial role in providing highquality administrative and technical business support to the Strategy & Sustainability team. This position requires maintaining effective and efficient administration systems and offering excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

What your day will look like:
- Conduct efficient accurate timely and thorough processing of development applications to ensure compliance with the Councils Planning Scheme policies and legislation.
- Assist the Senior Business Support Officer with day to day administrative functions.
- Compile agendas and take accurate minutes relating to technical aspects of Town planning development and that reflect meeting outcomes.
- Provide accurate and timely advice to customers in relation to Town planning applications in particular development application forms fees and current progress on development applications in accordance with the Development Assessment Rules under the Planning Act 2016.
What youll need for success:
- Minimum Certificate III in Business Administration or similar and/or experience in a similar role
Whats nice to have:
- Local Government experience
- Experience in strategic planning/development assessment
