POSITION OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

As a Customer Service Specialist for Hydraulic Components you will be the primary point of contact for customers. You will provide exceptional service by handling inquiries processing orders offering product information and coordinating with internal teams to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of hydraulic solutions. Your technical knowledge and customerfocused approach will be essential in building longterm relationships and supporting business growth.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the first line of support for customers via phone email and inperson (if applicable).
  • Provide expert advice on hydraulic components systems and product availability.
  • Process sales orders quotations returns and delivery followups in the ERP system.
  • Collaborate with technical warehouse and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate customer support.
  • Track orders and proactively update customers on status delays or alternatives.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Maintain customer records and service logs to support business continuity.
  • Support field sales representatives by preparing offers managing documentation and organizing logistics.
  • Stay up to date with hydraulic industry trends product updates and company offerings.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a customer service technical support or inside sales role
  • Solid understanding of hydraulic components and systems (e.g. pumps valves motors cylinders).
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch (French) and English.
  • Familiarity with ERP and Microsoft Office systems
  • Detailoriented with excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
  • Technical degree or certification in mechanical engineering or related field is a plus.
  • Customerfocused with a proactive solutionoriented mindset.
  • Team player who thrives in a fastpaced technical environment.
  • Reliable with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
