Leidos Defense Systems Sector/Manufacturing is seeking a Electrical Quality Engineer to join our team.

Primary Responsibilities
Inspect components and assembled parts IAW drawings.
Review and approve assembly instructions.
Approve Procurement requisitions.
Read and understand Drawings and Technical data packages.
Perform Internal AS9100 audits.
Write Nonconformance and start investigation to root cause.
Perform environmental testing and analysis of electrical boards and components.
Complete FAI review and conduct source inspection at approved Supplier locations.
Report Supplier notice of changes to Management.
Basic Qualifications
The Candidate must have a BS degree and 48 years of relevant experience or Master with 26 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree a High School diploma/GED or equivalent education with 10 years of relevant Quality experience will be considered.
Must be able to solve complex problems relate with other team members and communicate with other levels of management.
Must have knowledge and understanding when reading and interpreting drawings.
Must have experience with electrical test environment and test equipment.
Must have knowledge of how to efficiently use micrometers height gages gage blocks radius gages and calipers etc.
Experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 manufacturing environment.
Must have IPC 610/620 or J standard certification.
Candidate must be able to populate handwritten or computergenerated inspection reports.
Candidates must have Computer Skills and can use computer software such as Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word etc.
Applicants must be able to work fulltime with minimal supervision and adjust priorities based on workflow.
Must be willing to travel to customer sites to perform quality source inspections.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville North Alabama AL area.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Government contract and SOW interpretation.
Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations.
Previous auditing experience.

Pay Range $72150.00 $130425.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
