We are the largest provider of repairs and maintenance and regeneration services across the UK. Mears provide tailored rapidresponse and planned maintenance services through partnering arrangements with more than 70 local authorities Arms Length Management Organisations and Housing Associations.

About the role

We are looking for experienced Roofer to join our team in Peterborough. Working with Cross Keys Homes on a variety of residential works working in occupied void properties our team produce work to the highest standards and deliver outstanding customer service. You will be working on both pitched and flat roofing.

• Responsible for working on two to four story properties.
• Responsible for working at heights and adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.
• Carrying out roof repairs and replacements
• Replacing or installing new roofing systems on buildings and customising materials for individual roofs
• Ensuring works are carried out within set time frames.
• Responsible for using materials to include tiles wood shingles and other necessary materials.
• Ensuring that roofing materials are aligned with edges of roofs
• Carrying out brick work to include Gable end entire wall

Key Criteria

• Provide own hand tools
• PASMA ticket
• UK full driving licence
• Previous experience in roofing repairs.
• Ability to work at heights and work in all weather conditions.
• IT literate

All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.

To drive a Mears vehicle you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.

Candidates should be aware that all our roles are subject to relevant DBS/Security checks before commencement of employment.
