Youll be taking the lead on the design and launch of new programs for our customers. Youll also oversee programs that are already running and find ways to improve them. Key job responsibilities
1) Be able to access and analyze complex data sets to drive effective decision making. Use data to understand operational challenges and create continuous improvement initiatives.
2) Communicate clearly and concisely with leadership to explain performance trends actions and reasoning for business decisions.
3) Launch programs monitor performance metrics and report on the status of key objectives that affect deliverables.
4) Work with a variety of other Amazon departments to identify and leverage best practices.
5) Manage stakeholders and internal processes and define standards.
A day in the life
As a Program Manager you will be responsible for planning implementing and improving initiatives that ensure the smooth running of our operations. Youll work closely with a range of Amazon colleagues to understand how they work and what you and your teams can learn as well as sharing your own expertise. Together youll identify exciting new opportunities and will take the lead when it comes to designing their implementation.
About the team
The Amazon Grocery Logistics (AGL) org is looking to hire a Program Manager passionate about improving the Customer Experience of our online Grocery Fulfillment channel. This PM will be responsible for overseeing Quality improvements across the EU network (UK ES and IT) collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver the highest quality products to our customers.
A highly analytical candidate with program/project management or grocery operations experience is an ideal fit as this role will require crossfunctional partnership with multiple teams (Tech Operations Analytics Finance Delivery and other teams) to lead influence and support business critical projects and initiatives. Robust understanding of fulfillment operations including order fulfillment inventory flows constrained warehouse assets (capacity and labor) quality and long term roadmaps will help develop new innovations within complex ultrafast operations.
You will be expected to interact with seniorlevel audiences to provide updates and make strategic recommendations that will achieve the longterm vision for optimal balance between business need and operator experience. Documentation of requirements project management and crossteam coordination skills are essential.
Bachelors degree
Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Experience in leading large cross functional projects
