Job Description

Job Title: Ambulatory Clinical Nurse Manager
Location: New London NH
Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Department: Family Medicine / Ambulatory Services
Reports To: Director of Clinical Services

Position Overview

A full-time Ambulatory Clinical Nurse Manager is needed to oversee clinical operations at a family medicine and outpatient services department in New London NH. This leadership role is responsible for managing nursing and support staff—including RNs LPNs and CMAs—across ambulatory care practices. The position offers weekday daytime hours with no weekend or on-call requirements providing a strong work-life balance in a supportive healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Operations:

  • Supervise daily operations of clinical and support staff in the outpatient medical group

  • Coordinate staff scheduling time-off requests and payroll in partnership with practice leadership

  • Maintain clinical competencies and provide direct patient care as needed

  • Serve as a super-user and resource for the electronic medical record (EMR) system

  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new clinical hires

  • Ensure adherence to emergency preparedness procedures and clinical care standards

Leadership & Staff Development:

  • Collaborate with senior ambulatory leadership and nursing leadership to foster nursing development across the organization

  • Support continuous education training and staff mentoring

  • Deliver feedback and contribute to employee evaluations and performance improvement plans

  • Cultivate a collaborative patient-focused environment grounded in evidence-based care

This position is ideal for a registered nurse with strong leadership skills and outpatient clinical experience who is looking to take on a dynamic management role in ambulatory care.
