Job Description

We are seeking a QMS Manager for our client a leading technology and electronics manufacturing services provider to be based in Johor Malaysia as part of their global expansion effort. The ideal candidate is expected to have a proven leadership & quality management track record in the EMS space with a background in audit & compliance matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) certification efforts and participate in internal external and third-party audits.

  • Ensure adherence to ISO standards and all related QMS procedures.

  • Support the deployment and enforcement of quality policies and their associated processes.

  • Oversee and manage QMS documentation to meet regulatory and certification requirements.

  • Serve as the Management Representative liaising with certification and regulatory authorities for audits and product registrations.

  • Provide regular updates to senior management on QMS performance including audit findings corrective actions and areas for improvement.

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance product quality and process efficiency.

  • Ensure organizational compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994.

  • Promote and drive continuous improvements in workplace safety programs.

  • Carry out additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • A Diploma Advanced Diploma Bachelor's Degree Postgraduate Diploma or Professional Qualification in Environmental/Health/Safety Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related field.

  • Familiarity with various quality standards such as ISO 9001 ANSI/S20 ISOCFR Part 820 AS9100 or ISO 14000 is a plus.

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in quality management or a related discipline.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and other business software tools.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with demonstrated leadership and team collaboration abilities.
