Whats the role

This role is a full time permanent position based in Sydney. Your role will be providing technical expertise to deliver on Westpacs next generation technology capabilities in the Marketing and Analytics domain.

Key areas include platform development specialised application development systems and processes and include the below main responsibilities:

• Support Westpacs Marketing Technology Stack such as Adobe Experience Platform and Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This may include planning design development and delivery of new functionality or changes to existing functional configuration data migration and integrations.
• Support the delivery of Westpacs Technology Simplification Strategy for the Marketing Domain by delivery of new technologies building services and following CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead technical aspects of projects related to any Marketing Technology initiatives in a fastpaced environment and able to successfully keep to deadlines.
• Appraising and reporting on new development techniques and vendor products and making recommendations on the acquisition of advanced technology.

What do I need

To be successful in this position you will be an Engineers who can work in an agile environment and will have hands on experience in platform development specialised application development and systems and processes. Other skills and experience needed includes:

• Handson experience with various marketing automation and decisioning platforms like Adobe Experience Platform Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Pega Customer Decisioning Hub
• Hands on experience with SQL coding language is essential and python is highly desirable
• Experience with Jenkins bitbucket AWS codepipeline bamboo would be advantageous
• You should have prior experience in building APIs and middleware
• Experience in leading programs and projects
