The Opportunity

As a Business Analyst you will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders Data & Digital Innovation team and Information Systems. You will lead crossfunctional efforts to analyze document and improve business processes while ensuring alignment with TC Energys strategic goals. Youll use your strong facilitation analytical and project management skills to drive meaningful change and support digital innovation initiatives.

What youll do

  • Partner with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements related to safety pipeline operations construction projects engineering / integrity programs compliance and commercial systems.
  • Lead workshops and stakeholder sessions using proven facilitation techniques to uncover current challenges and define future state processes.
  • Conduct indepth process analysis to identify inefficiencies and recommend datadriven improvements that enhance performance and reliability.
  • Translate business needs into actionable system requirements and work with developers architects and QA teams to implement effective solutions.
  • Lead or contribute to project delivery through planning coordination risk management and reporting.
  • Monitor business performance metrics and contribute to KPI development to measure improvement outcomes.
  • Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities forAIdriven automationpredictive analytics anddata enrichment.
  • Work with data science teams to ensure business requirements are reflected in AI model development and deployment.
  • Support digital initiatives involving SCADA GIS commercial operations pipe integrity and enterprise reporting systems.
  • Ensure system solutions meet regulatory requirements and internal standards (privacy cyber PHMSA FERC CER etc.).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Information Systems Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 7 years of Business Analysis experience including 3 years in theenergyindustry.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Experience withpipeline systems SCADA and regulatory environments.
  • Strong knowledge ofprocess modelingdata analytics andcontinuous improvement methodologies(Lean Six Sigma etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience infacilitationrequirementsgathering and stakeholder engagement across business and technical teams.
  • Strong project management skills and experience with Agile Waterfall or hybrid delivery models.
  • Proficiency with business analysis and visualization tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the Decision Quality (DQ) process to facilitate making informed and structured decisions that lead to positive outcomes.
  • AWS and/or Microsoft Certifications (e.g. AWS Cloud/AI Practitioner Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate).
  • Experience working in theenergy oil & gas or infrastructure sectors.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks in the energy industry.
