This is a rare opportunity to join a singlethreaded sales team within Amazon Ads focused exclusively on books advertising. This individual will directly contribute to building the future of books advertising acting as the direct link between our books advertising customers and our internal partner teams.
This individual will own an account list comprised of a diverse mix of active advertisers including publishers indie authors and ad agencies and will also be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities. In this role you are expected to think and act both strategically and tactically for your customers using your strong business acumen and experience selling digital advertising solutions to deliver results for your customers. You enjoy solving problems on behalf of your customers work effectively with crossfunctional teams and thrive in a fastpaced setting that is constantly evolving.
Key job responsibilities
Deliver the highest level of sales and service to our clients to our Books advertising customers.
Deliver predictable revenue growth across a diverse book of business.
Prospect penetrate and create new relationships with clients and retain and grow revenue from existing advertisers.
Understand Amazons full suite of display and search advertising tools to help build Book Publishers and Authors drive their business on and off Amazon.
Influence how decisions are made by leading with data and are focused on understanding how Amazons products and tools can help build relevant advertising solutions for our customers.
Conduct phone/video and inperson meetings demonstrating subject matter expertise and a point of view on industry and/or specific advertising solutions with deep knowledge of your customers vision and objectives.
Champion internal programs and workflows.
Utilize Sales CRM tools to track all pertinent account information and sales progress as well as provide timely and accurate revenue forecasts and maintain a clean sales pipeline.
Have a passion for and desire to learn about the Publishing industry.
3 years of outside sales in Advertising B2B or SAS fields
Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
Experience in account management and selling of digital media
Experience working crossfunctionally and with a wide range of employees and customers with different skill sets.
Experience in the advertising media or agency landscape and proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals via new and existing business
Experience in Publishing Industry working with Book Publishers or Indie Authors.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $80200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $171500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
