Role Insight: The Lead Strategic Initiatives role involves developing program strategies managing partnerships and driving projects potentially at a global level. It requires strong stakeholder engagement and experience in womens empowerment livelihood disaster management education and rural empowerment. The role also includes travel within Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and development for new programs and external partnerships.
- Development and incubation of operational plans and pilots for new initiatives.
- Use structured problemsolving and analytical frameworks to identify problem areas develop hypotheses and drive to insightful recommendations.
- Conduct indepth research and analysis of industry trends competitive landscape and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decisionmaking.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather data insights and perspectives for strategic planning.
- Support the development of longterm strategic plans and annual operating plans in alignment with organizational goals.
- Facilitate crossfunctional collaboration to ensure the successful implementation of strategic initiatives.
- Monitor the progress of strategic initiatives identify potential risks and roadblocks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present reports on the status and impact of strategic initiatives to key stakeholders.
- Support the development of business cases for new strategic initiatives including financial and operational feasibility assessments.
- Contribute to the development and execution of change management strategies to support the adoption of new initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders relevant to strategic initiatives.
- Support the identification and evaluation of potential strategic alliances partnerships and collaborations providing actionable recommendations.
- Development and maintenance of KPIs with a focus on measuring the impact and success of strategic initiatives.
- Commission projects from third parties to meet agreed objectives.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Business Administration Strategy or a related field OR a relevant postgraduate degree in the development sector.
1012 years of experience in the social sector.
Strong knowledge of the social sector.
Good communication and influencing skills.
