Position: Production Engineer (Metal Part)

Location: Hai Duong
Reporting directly to Vietnamese PE Manager.
2 rounds of interviews: offline round with Vietnamese Manager and online round with US headquarters.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position based at our Vietnam factory is responsible for addressing issues related to new parts and products from NPI through to manufacturing. The role focuses on the development and validation of new parts according to DFM principles supplier evaluation and the improvement of part/product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development of new metal parts.
- Perform DFM checks and validate designs with the R&D team.
- Experience in managing new product regulatory requirements is a plus.
- Ensure compliance with the quality system requirements (e.g. FMEA Control Plans and TCM).
- Be responsible for improving quality yield cost and cycle time.
- Assess the quality of components and supplier performance.
- Work closely with the R&D team to lead the prototyping phase and ensure product meets the necessary specifications.
- Identify and resolve production issues assess technical feasibility and optimize designs.
- Collaborate with team leaders across departments to drive product quality improvements.
- Provide support to production through job request management.
- Take ownership of and drive both the preproduction and production phases to ensure the product meets all requirements.
- Enhance processes to ensure capacity and reduce costs.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and provide regular updates to the PE leader.
- Undertake other tasks as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A university degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- A minimum of 57 years of experience working as a production engineer.
- Experience with system processing particularly with SAP.
- Experience in new part development.
- Experience in metal part production.
- Experience with sewing machines is a plus.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings 3D modeling and engineering documentation.
- Proficient in MS Office and internet applications.
- Proficient in English communication.
Working Conditions:
Working hours: Monday to Friday (7:00 AM 4:30 PM)
13th salary month bonus (April 30 September yearend bonus) salary increase twice a year based on evaluation (average increase 5%).
Probation period: 2 months 85% basic salary 100% allowance.
Annual leave: 12 days per year.
Insurance paid on full salary.
