Be at the forefront of healthcare innovation as the Head of Strategy & Planning Virtual and Home. Reporting to the Chief of Strategy you will lead the strategic direction of our expanding virtual and homebased care services shaping how St Vincents delivers exceptional care in this space. Your strategic thinking will directly influence our short and longterm success in this crucial and evolving division.

This is a Permanent FullTime position based in any of our Group Head Offices in Sydney Brisbane or Melbourne.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to lead in the development and revision of strategic plans including Clinical Service Planning
  • Establish and enhance the divisions strategic goals and priorities providing a futurefocused perspective to clinical and operational planning
  • Oversee the implementation of projects ensuring they are executed on time within budget and aligned with the overall strategy
  • Monitor and analyse the activities of competitors market dynamics and trends to provide insights for strategic decisionmaking and plan for a competitive advantage
  • Work closely with crossfunctional teams internal and external stakeholders and other Heads of Strategy colleagues to ensure the successful execution of strategic plans and key projects
  • Assist in the reporting and tracking of strategic initiative progress and review prepare and present reports to senior leadership

  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning business development or similar role ideally within the health and aged care sector
  • Thorough knowledge of the industry encompassing market dynamics trends and the competitive landscape
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to think longterm envision future scenarios and develop plans with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to assess complex situations identify opportunities and make datadriven decisions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences
  • Proven leadership skills to manage teams influence stakeholders and drive crossfunctional collaboration
  • Tertiary qualifications in business economics management or a related field and an MBA or other relevant advanced degree is advantageous
