TITLE: District MLL Coordinator (Parttime Teacher Leader Stipend Position)JOB GOAL:The MLL Coordinator works with school and district administration and teachers in the MLL Department to ensure students have access to rigorous and relevant coursework and instructional materials and the support and interventions to be proficient in English and meet or exceed grade/course proficiency standards. QUALIFICATIONS: Rhode Island certification as an MLL years of successful MLL teaching experience. knowledge of MLL program requirements as evidenced by advanced degree course work training and/or professional exceptions to the above as may be acceptable to the SuperintendentPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: experience as a Teacher ESL Specialist/ success in working collaboratively with teachers administrators industry and community partners students and and expertise in program development data collection and analysis program evaluation and oral and written communication skills and technology RESPONSIBILITIES: the integrity of instruction of MLL the delivery and analysis of MLL assessment data (currently ACCESS). with school and district leaders and MLL teachers to identify areas of program improvement and support/monitor progress of improvement and support team professional as a member of the school leadership as a member of the Professional Development need to do home visits to assess other related work as required by the Principals or Assistant OF EMPLOYMENT: 3 Year Appointment (September 2025 June 2028)Schedule to be determined by the School Principal in collaboration with the Assistant Superintendent. Will receive the equivalent of two administrative periods/week and complete an estimated 40 hours per year for hours required beyond the contractual day to be submitted on time sheet. Compensation $3000 per year for successful completion of job responsibilities.
