OVERVIEW
We are currently looking for a Director of Permanent Placement Services (DPS) to oversee ALL practice groups. The DPS will lead mentor and grow their team while building new business and marketing our specialized staffing services via growing their personal book of business. This role will be based in Toronto.
As a Director of Permanent Services you will build and provide leadership to your team and assist team members to achieve results they would not ordinarily achieve on their own growing revenue ensuring staff retention and fostering an inclusive and highperformance sales culture.
You will be responsible for generating recruitment opportunities across practice areas and furthering the brand awareness and service offering of Robert Half.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Leadership
- Demonstrating incremental growth of personal and team monthly performance and provision of quality customer service
- Coaching team members and reviewing monthly sales production; actively leading on business development endeavours and candidate acquisition
- Creating and maintaining a productive sales culture demonstrating inclusive leadership behaviours
- Resource planning and talent management for your team in line with agreed business objectives; to include talent mobility succession planning and hiring using inclusive processes
- Understanding and articulating diversity and inclusion policy and the cultural growth and development of the company to team members and potential recruits. Ensuring that your team is inclusive and that everyones wellbeing is a priority
- Work with other leaders to ensure that we sustain an inclusive environment across the business
Clients
- Conducting business development activities (calls emails inmails meetings) with existing lapsed and targeted contacts/prospects to:
- Retain and capture new market share
- Promote and demonstrate the value of Robert Halfs services over competitors
- Educate clients on current hiring trends and tactics they can deploy to position themselves competitively to attract and hire top talent for their organization
- Pipeline requirements and promote our services as a trusted business partner
- Taking job order requirements and being consultative on market conditions and availability of talent sought after
- Conducting searches and managing target client lists in Salesforce / DOMO to build business development plans
- Sourcing leads and tracking them in the Salesforce Leads Console
- Take a holistic approach to creating sales opportunities across practice areas and geographies
Candidates
- Responsible for ensuring a diverse and inclusive pipeline of candidates are available for your market using innovative methods
- Ensure a culture of proactively marketing candidates internally to your colleagues and externally to clients
- Driving candidate data integrity in Salesforce
- Overseeing and advising on the delivery of an exemplary candidate experience
In Addition
- Building and maintaining a robust and appealing online brand presence in line with Robert Halfs social media strategy and cultural growth objectives to network build relationships and generate placement and sales opportunities
- Creating targeted customer emailshots
- Using the Salesforce Planner to establish robust call planning schedules to customers
- Attending or hosting inperson client and candidate events to generate new business opportunities and promote networking and relationship building
- Adhering to company compliance and regulatory guidelines
- Managing a profitable business focussing on bad debt PDA growth and headcount
- Put ethics first and do the right thing in all situations

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred.
- 2 years management or equivalent experience required.
- 2 years talent manager experience required.
- Proven performance in talent manager and talent director roles.
- Experience developing and managing budgets.
- Demonstrated success in business generation leading and driving business development.
- Excellent communication presentation and problemsolving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office databases and other systems.
