Our client a leading title insurance company specializing in commercial real estate transactions is seeking a Commercial Title Insurance Underwriter to provide expert underwriting support and risk analysis. Candidate Profile:
5 years of title underwriting experience with commercial title insurance underwriting experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of commercial real estate law including federal and state title insurance regulations.
Indepth understanding of commercial real estate title processes and settlement procedures.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to assess complex real estate transactions.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to present alternative solutions effectively.
Ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to offer innovative solutions.
What Youll Do:
Provide underwriting counsel and support to company personnel and clients on real estate title insurance commitments and policies.
Utilize underwriting standards and guidelines within delegated authority to assess risk and issue title insurance.
Advise company personnel on best practices for real estate settlement services.
Ensure compliance with underwriting standards guidelines and established company procedures.
Work collaboratively with internal teams and external clients to resolve underwriting challenges and enhance service delivery.
