Job Description
City Tree Christian School is a wonderful community of teachers staff and families working together to educate our children in a loving Christian environment. We are a ministry of First Presbyterian Church committed to integrating educational excellence with the Biblebased teachings of Jesus Christ. We are an ethnically and socioeconomically diverse school located in downtown San Diego. About 200 students attend our schoolage infants through eighth grade. Our school is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
Seeking a responsible person to monitor students and engage in sports games and activities for a K8 after school program that includes approximately 40 students and 34 staff members. Program includes a variety of after school activities such as games arts crafts sports homework time etc. A dependable mature and responsible person who is able to integrate their love for Christ as they lead a small staff teach and lead groups of children and interact daily with parents and teachers.
This is a part time position from approximately 3:006:00pm Monday Friday.
Compensation based on education and experience. Range $17$22/hour. Position begins August 26 2024 and continues through midJune.
Qualifications: Experience with children and leadership. Ability to commit to the full school year late August to midJune. College degree desired.
