Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This role will be to support Body-in-White design and development and installation activities in an automotive industry.
- Lead and supervise on-site installation teams including internal staff and subcontractors. (BIW JIGS FIXTURES ROBOT LINE CONVEYOR & WELDING)
- Coordinate pre-installation site assessments and readiness with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Develop installation plans including timelines resource allocation and safety protocols.
- Ensure all equipment is installed according to manufacturer specifications engineering drawings and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during installation and commissioning.
- Provide on-site leadership including scheduling task assignment and quality assurance.
- Conduct final system checks and support equipment testing and validation.
- Maintain accurate documentation including installation reports safety checklists and punch lists. EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION LEADER 3 6 years
- Communicate effectively with clients vendors and internal departments (engineering project management etc.).
- Train end-users or client maintenance teams on basic equipment operation and maintenance.
- Proven experience leading on-site teams and managing installation projects.
- Strong understanding of mechanical electrical and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
