Minimum Qualifications
Associate or Technical degree in Climate Control Technology and/or Control System Technology or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. A minimum of four (4) years experience with HVAC and/or handson Direct Digital Control ( DDC ) and temperature control experience. A minimum of four (4) years experience in DDC programming and/or DDC commissioning. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others. Excellent oral and written skills. Ability to work independently. Willing to provide remote assistance if necessary. Attend meetings as necessary in regards to BAS issues. Must possess a valid drivers license and driving record acceptable to the University by the Universitys insurance carrier. Physical demands of the position require occasional balancing bending driving grasping kneeling/squatting leg/foot movement manual dexterity reaching and walking/running. Requires frequent sitting and standing. Environmental exposures include chemical exposure confined space congested area exposure to dust/smoke/fumes/odors/grease/oil exposure to electrical hazards exposure to extreme temperatures hazardous substances hearing inadequate lighting noise sight slippery surfaces smell tactile/touch using power equipment vibration working around moving machinery working outside and working at heights.
