P1 Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced P1 Coordinator to join our team on a fulltime permanent basis based in Port Melbourne. This position is on day shift and will be based 100% onsite.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for performing all logistical functions MRP system transactions work order releases all receiving & shipping functions.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform & manage all coordinators functions (including but not limited to receiving putaway cycle counts kitting milk runs dispatch including FGI & fab operations)
  • Oversee inventory control processes and ensure data accuracy across systems
  • Plan across multiple production cells and shared resources (e.g. autoclaves fabrication lines)
  • Coordinate tasks for junior coordinators and stores staff according to business needs
  • Monitor and report progress of MMO and operations fab parts against production schedules and KPIs Identify and address shortages or delays proactively
  • Champion data integrity and configuration control throughout MMO & operations
  • Provide training and guidance to team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Liaise with internal & external customers to meet business needs
  • Actively participates to assist develop maintain and adhere to schedules as per business needs


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 5 years experience in manufacturing/logistics/warehouse coordinator role and knowledge of the process flows within
  • Skilled in Microsoft office suite
  • Proficient in MRP including planning and reporting function
  • Strong leadership and delegation abilities
  • Safety conscious and able to adhere to safety requirements
  • Clear communicator with continuous improvement mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to liaise directly with internal customers & external customers
  • Highly adaptable
  • Full unrestricted working rights in Australia

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Current Forklift license is desirable

Additional Information:

This is an Enterprise Agreement position classified as Aerospace Technician 3A. The successful candidate may be required to complete preemployment checks.
