The Director of Graduate Admissions is responsible for leading the recruitment and admissions process for graduate programs. This role involves developing and implementing strategic enrollment plans overseeing the admissions team and ensuring the university meets its annual enrollment targets. The Director will play a key role in advancing recruitment efforts through the use of innovative technologies datadriven strategies and effective collaboration across departments and divisions.
Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing comprehensive training to Admissions staff on an integrated approach to enrollment functions.
- Manage workflow and processes in alignment with enrollment cycles.
- Ensure the Office of Admissions meets the universitys annual enrollment targets by implementing the Strategic Recruitment Plan.
- Oversee the development of recruitment materials methods and strategies including leveraging technology enrollment management systems and social media for outreach.
- Lead the creation and execution of recruitment strategies for local national and international markets.
- Develop and manage budgets related to admissions and recruitment initiatives.
- Assist the Vice President in identifying and evaluating international partnerships and community college transfer programs.
- Collaborate with campus visit teams to coordinate individual and group tours recruitment events and yield initiatives.
- Develop ways to optimize the admissions pipeline from inquiry to enrollment using student software systems.
- Collaborate with Financial Services to leverage financial aid packaging scholarships and financial literacy opportunities for prospective students and their families.
Education
- A masters degree in higher education student affairs business humanities sciences or a related field emphasizing analysis and critical thinking.
- Minimum of five years of experience including at least three years in a leadership role within admissions or enrollment management.
- Must be able to lift 10 pounds.
