Job Description
Senior Business Analyst
The Business Analyst serves as a translator between technical teams and the clients business community to collect clarifyanalyzeand translate business requirements into user stories which applications and solutions are developed. This position is within the context of an Agile Business Analyst defines detailed stories with applicable acceptance criteria in collaboration with product owners and ICFs technologyteam andfacilitates meetings with client and internal technical and operational teams.Strong communication critical thinking and attention to detail are paramount to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients.
This position will be working directly with stakeholders serve as a Business and must be able to communicate effectively via phone web conferencing and MS Teams.In addition to supporting all phases of the project this position will also be responsible for authoring content and peer reviewing a wide array of documents including functional technical and training.
Basic Qualifications
US Citizenship is (required by the federal government for this position).
Active DHS Public Trust Clearance
MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.) as this work is for a federal contract and laws do apply.
6 years of business analysis experience
3 years of experience translating requirements into specific scoped user stories
3 years of experience working in an agile environment
2 years of experience creating documentation including process mapping role matrixes etc.
2 years of experience independently working with stakeholders to elicit understand and prioritize requirements
1years of experiencein a fastpaced IT environment
1 years of experience with the ServiceNow Platform
1 years of experience manually testing user stories
1 years of experience facilitating sprint ceremonies and other ad hoc meetings as needed
1 years of experience using gherkin syntax for user story acceptance criteria
Desired Qualifications
Proficiency in utilizing gherkin syntax for user story acceptance criteria
Strong experience working in an agile environment
Skilled at analyzing existing system documentation to summarize existing system functionality as it relates to the project.
Good understanding of basic system technologies as they relate to the project deliverables.
Ability to create and maintain project roadmaps.
Proficiency in gherkin syntax
Ability to provide technical assistance and troubleshooting by effectively responding to inquiries.
Professional Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good understanding of basic system technologies as they relate to the project deliverables.
Comfort in provide system demonstrations and presentations to stakeholders
Experience working in a fastpaced environment
