Job Title: CassetteRepair Technician
Location: Rotherham
Salary: 26374.40 per annum
Hours: 40 Hours working week permanent position
What is the role of a CassetteRepair Technician
To repair and configure the full range of cash dispense/deposit cassettes required to support our UK ATM estate.
What will I be doing as aCassetteRepair Technician
Repair/refurbishment and configuration of cash cassettes for NCR and Wincor ATMs.
Ensure cassettes are repaired to exacting standards with stringent quality control measures.
Use ATMs/test rigs and diagnostic programs to confirm cassette configuration and troubleshoot issues.
Ship cassettes CIT depots Financial Institutions and Field Engineers.
Update trackers and databases to log all cassette dispatches serial numbers etc.
Harvest reusable parts/components from end of life and damaged cash cassettes.
Ensure all administrative aspects of the role are completed on time.
Maintain workstation and Cassette Repair department to meet H&S obligations and keep a clean and safe working environment.
Continuously assist in improving and refining repair processes to deliver improved partlife expectancy.
What will I need to succeed as a Cassette Repair Technician
PC basic skills MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
Possess good manual skills and be a competent user of handtools
Ability to follow technical information and regulatory procedures correctly.
Attention to detail.
Creative and analytical problemsolving skills.
A methodical and systematic approach to troubleshooting and resolving faults.
Be a motivated team player and have a willingness to learn.
Ability to prioritise workload and work to challenging deadlines.
Possess good communication skills (both verbal and written).
Manual handling awareness and broad H&S knowledge.
Shift pattern
8am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Weekend & weekday overtime may be required depending on the needs of the business.
