Job Description
Join our dedicated imaging team as an MRI Technician in Columbus OH. We are seeking a skilled professional with at least 2 years of MRI experience who can provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services while ensuring patient comfort and safety. This is a Monday-Friday day-shift position (07:30 AM 04:00 PM 40 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare position and screen patients for MRI procedures.
- Accurately set anatomic and technical parameters to produce high-quality cross-sectional images.
- Perform patient pre-screening scheduling and provide exam education.
- Enter and monitor patient data in imaging systems; ensure accurate submission to PACS.
- Adhere to radiation safety procedures and maintain compliance with all safety standards.
- Monitor and report equipment functionality issues; assist with department cleanliness and organization.
- Support patient care by maintaining a safe professional and compassionate environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of MRI Technician experience.
- Traveler MRI Tech experience preferred.
- Current certification and compliance with state and facility requirements.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical skills in MRI imaging.
- Knowledge of PACS and imaging software systems.
- Attention to detail accuracy and patient safety.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
