Location: Remote (flexible schedule; occasional evening calls in Kyiv time possible)
Our client is an awardwinning digital product studio based in Los Angeles specializing in building scalable and usercentric web and mobile applications. They partner with startups nonprofits and global organizations to bring highimpact products to life.
Project Overview
Our client is currently rebuilding a mobile app for a radio station and is seeking an experienced Kotlin Developer for a 3week contract. The primary goal is to implement and support Android Auto integration for audio streamingan essential feature not natively available in React Native.
Key Responsibilities
Develop a seamless and userfriendly audio streaming interface for Android Auto.
Collaborate with Gojis React Native engineers to bridge integration across platforms.
Optimize performance identify bottlenecks and resolve bugs.
Maintain clean welldocumented and testable code.
Participate in crossfunctional collaboration with product design and development teams.
Requirements
Proven handson experience building Android Auto audiostreaming applications using Kotlin.
Strong knowledge of media streaming services and Android Auto/Android for Cars ecosystem.
Proficiency with RESTful APIs and Gitbased version control.
Comfortable working in fastpaced collaborative environments.
NicetoHave
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Understanding of React Native or other frontend frameworks (e.g. React Angular ).
Previous experience in Agile/Scrum teams or software studios.
Leadership or mentoring experience is a bonus.
