Job responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing the awarding of state and federal aid to eligible students according to regulations and policy
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail with the capability to multitask.
- Computer knowledge is requested including Microsoft Word Excel Teams and Outlook
- Enforce department policies procedures goals and objectives
- Assumes departmental responsibility in absence of the Director
- Assist with file review
- Help manage campusbased funding including Federal Work Study and FSEOG
- Assists with training and development of the team
- Assists with staff selection and evaluation
- Counsels students and parents as needed
- Performs special assignments as needed
- Performs related duties as required
- Run reports to ensure department integrity
- Interact with other departments to assist students
- Assist with private loans and institutional payment plan
- Manage Financial Aid team to department metrics
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Education Experience Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelors Degree preferred.
- 4 years of Financial Aid experience.
- CampusVue experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail with the capability to multitask.
- Computer knowledge is requested including Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook
