We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell V280 Future LongRange Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) and the Bell 360 Invictus Future Attack and Reconnaissance Aircraft (FARA) part of the US Armys Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless Bells Autonomous Pod Transport (APT) and Bells HighSpeed Vertical TakeOff and Landing (HSVTOL) program a next generation stopfold tiltrotor. This position is onsite in Fort Worth however exceptions for alternate work arrangements may be considered.
FLRAA Build Support Specialist
The FLRAA Build Support Specialist provides support to several Future Long Range Assault Aircraft program functions to include Engineering Planning Tooling Supply Chain Management and material management on the Bell FLRAA Build Support Specialists are key individual contributors driving success in Build Efforts that require materials orders production orders coordination with Bells Centers of Excellence the Manufacturing Technology Center and provide integrated support to Build Team Manufacturing Engineers and FLRAA Integrated Product Teams.
What youll be doing as a FLRAA Build Support Specialist
- Execute V280 Build Support including assisting V 280 Build Support Management Demand and Data Management and Business Systems Management
- Act as the primary conduit between IPT teams supporting engineering design priorities release schedules and integration into PRES.
- Knowledgeable and accountable for all SAPrelated issues on the V280 program ensuring the Program Business Architecture within Bell supports Program of Record activities.
- Is the primary conduit between V280 IPT teams and Supply Chain supporting material or parts demand via the EBOM Tracker.
- Primary conduit between V280 IPT teams and Bell support systems (Enovia SAP MRP etc).
- Assists in managing the Earned Value (EV) aspects of aircraft build and ensures appropriate progress documentation and costs are recorded.
- Assists the Build IPT in Risk and Opportunity identification and management.
Skills You Bring To this Role
- Ability to prioritize work strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a team player mindset.
- Excellent communicator must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers internal and external suppliers and brief leaders/customers.
- Working knowledge of aircraft production methodologies demand management inventory and warehousing and data management.
- Must have strong working knowledge of the following Software Tools Excel SharePoint SAP ENOVIAPPM.
What you need to be successful
- Multiple levels will be considered for this position.
- Bachelors Degree in Aviation Logistics Engineering Engineering Technology Business Administration or Manufacturing Engineering
- Related degrees with relevant experience will be considered.
