Job Overview
The Maintenance Specialist plays a key role in performing advanced technical tasks at a journeyman level in the installation operation maintenance modification service and repair of electrical systems equipment fixtures and related electromechanical systems. This position involves troubleshooting maintaining and repairing electrical equipment as well as calibrating instruments to meet specific needs. This positions working hours are primarily day time Monday Friday however some weekend and after hours work is required when necessary. The pay range for this role is $3235/hr depending on level of relevant electrical experience.
What You Will Do:
- Respond to and address machine maintenance requests
- Ensure proper labeling and upkeep of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Provide suggestions for equipment upgrades or redesigns
- Plan and schedule routine maintenance for machines
- Organize and maintain maintenance tools
- Develop a cycle time plan to manage repairs and maintenance efficiently
- Train other employees on the operation and capabilities of machines
- Maintain organized machine manuals and related documentation
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Coordinate with external vendors for the upkeep of specialized machines or vehicles
- Offer support to the Facility Specialist or other departments as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Electrician certification or relevant electrical experience is necessary
- Willingness to work outside of regular hours when needed
- Physical ability to squat bend lift and carry weights between 515 lbs with occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs
