Position Summary
We are looking for a System Integrator Testing to support our engineering this role youll program and configure PLCs and touchscreens (Allen Bradley required) troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems and ensure machines meet customer specifications. Youll be hands-on during equipment installation and testing-both in-house and at customer sites (travel required). Youll also document procedures train customers and collaborate closely with the Electrical Engineering Design Lead.
Key Responsibilities
Program and configure Allen Bradley PLCs and touchscreens
Troubleshoot electrical systems: fix wiring issues program inverters and temperature controllers
Program equipment like conveyor belts blowers drives rollers ovens and fryers to run smoothly
Test machines to ensure they meet customer requirements
Complete technical checklists and write detailed instructions for equipment operation
Train customers on how to operate equipment
Review and understand blueprints and mechanical drawings
Support new and junior electrical assemblers by training and guiding them
Write and submit Quality Discrepancy Reports (QDR) for issues found
Use Made2Manage (M2M) system for job tracking
Follow all safety protocols and meet project deadlines
Additional Responsibilities
Edit electrical drawings using AutoCAD (E-Plan or similar CAD software)
Complete documentation for billing and travel expenses
Operate forklifts pallet jacks and scissor lifts
Perform other related tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelors in Electrical Engineering OR Associates degree/technical training in PLCs or industrial controls
Minimum 2 years of mechanical troubleshooting experience (manufacturing preferred)
Minimum 5 years in electrical assembly or a related role
Strong knowledge of combustion systems hydraulics and pneumatics
Able to write and troubleshoot PLC programs
Skilled in mechanical repairs and assembly
Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel Outlook
Great customer service and clear communication skills
Must have your own hand tools
Forklift certified
Valid California Drivers License with clean driving record
Willing to travel (up to 30% both domestic and international)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
