This is an inperson position based out of our corporate office in Greenville SC.
The Assistant Merchandiser provides operational support to the Merchandising team in the execution of seasonal assortments across wholesale and DTC channels. This role focuses on maintaining data accuracy managing samples and supporting key merchandising processes. Working closely with the Merchandiser the Assistant Merchandiser helps coordinate communication between crossfunctional partners including Design Sourcing Planning and Visual teams to ensure smooth product development and production workflows.
Crew Position:
Wholesale:
- Support the Merchandiser in the SKU planning process by gathering sales data helping with market trend research and reviewing past product performance.
- Help maintain product information and updates in the product master file.
- Assist with coordinating and tracking sample requests for the marketing and sales teams. Help organize samples prep them for meetings and keep things on schedule.
- Support accurate documentation and communication of product features and benefits to internal teams.
- In collaboration with Merchandiser update and distribute the daily Salesman Sample (SMS) marketing change log.
- Assist in gathering and preparing product samples for seasonal sales meetings.
Direct to Customer (DTC):
- Run and deliver weekly merchandising sales reports to the Merchandiser.
- Build foundational knowledge in selling trends and assortment opportunities. Share opportunities for improvement.
- Develop working knowledge of AI tools used to create quickturn products aligned with customer preferences.
- Assist in tracking the progress of product development by checking in with vendor partners and making sure key deadlines are met.
- Support the visual team by helping coordinate tools and info needed for instore merchandising.
- Collaborate with the Merchandiser and Sales team to assist with gathering information for product pricing suggestions.

Know the ropes...
- Bachelors degree in Design Merchandising Business or related program degree preferred.
- Generally 0 years experience in Merchandising or related field. Intern experience strongly preferred but not required.
- Strong computer skills specifically within the Microsoft Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and interest in data accuracy.
- Foundational analytical and problemsolving skills.
