Job Description
This position within the AWS Backup team represents a unique and rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor within a fast growing business and help shape the technology product and business. A successful candidate will bring deep technical and software expertise strong business acumen and judgment the ability to define ground breaking products the ability to hire and grow team members the desire to have an industry wide impact and the ability to work within a fast moving startup environment in a large company to rapidly deliver services that have a broad business impact.

We are looking for an experienced product manager thought leader to help us grow and operate this business. In this role you will be responsible for thinking big setting direction and priorities driving definitions delivering results growing customer adoption and ensuring we exceed all customer expectations.

As a product management leader you will be part of the larger technical community at Amazon. This community forms the backbone of the company plays a critical role in the broad business planning working closely with senior leaders to develop business targets and resource requirements influences our longterm technical and business strategy helps us hire talented team of engineers and ultimately enables us to deliver innovative and operationally sound solutions rapidly.

7 years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
5 years of technical (software development network development IT other related) experience
Experience delivering largescale SaaS PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle from concept through GTM (go to market)
BA/BS required; BS in Computer Science / Engineering / Mathematics plus MBA preferred

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $163000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $281800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
