Job Description
Were looking for a talented Project Manager to join our New Homes Delivery team at Platform Housing Group. With an ambitious development pipeline and a strong commitment to sustainable and innovative construction youll play a key role in delivering highquality homes across The Midlands.
This is more than just project oversight youll be driving forward a wide range of schemes including those using Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) helping us to futureproof our developments and support our decarbonisation goals.
Youll be handson in monitoring build progress resolving challenges keeping projects on track and ensuring our homes meet Platforms high standards. Working closely with contractors quality teams and internal colleagues across sales and lettings your role will be critical to ensuring timely compliant and costeffective delivery.
Youll oversee a portfolio of development projects. Youll thrive in this fastpaced environment youll keep up to date with the progress of your schemes finding solutions to keep to completion timeframes and meet our quality first standards.
This is a permanent fulltime role based from home with regular travel required to sites and occasional visits to our Birmingham Business Park and Worcester offices.

About You
Youll bring a blend of technical expertise and strong people skills able to manage complex build projects while maintaining excellent working relationships with a range of stakeholders. Youll ideally come from the Housing sector bringing with you strong stakeholder management skills liaising with Lettings Housing Sales Asset Management contractors consultants and statutory bodies.
Coming from a housing association or residential development background will be a real advantage youll understand the regulatory context the importance of building safe and sustainable homes and the need to balance quality cost and community impact. Your insight into how affordable housing is delivered will be invaluable in helping us continue to build thriving communities.
Youll also have;

A recognised constructionrelated qualification (MCIOB MRICS ARB APM or RTPI) or equivalent experience

Proven experience delivering residential new build and refurbishment schemes

A solid understanding of development processes construction regulations and health and safety standards

Familiarity with Homes England grant funding and S106 developments

Strong analytical skills to monitor budgets assess contractors performance and manage risk

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to find practical solutions in fastmoving environments
A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle (or equivalent travel arrangements) are essential due to the travel requirements of the role.
