Job Description
Degree in industrial engineering with focus on logistics or comparable
Experience in project management
Knowledge in Layout Packaging and Route design
Knowledge in LEAN concepts
Develop logistics concepts (internal supplier customer) for new programs coming to the plant taking care of EHS and 6S guidelines
Concepts include layout packaging design information flow design inventory levels definition internal transportation transportation costs
Layout design of shopfloor including supermarket warehousing point of use and line feeding
Identify packaging that fits with designed layout and global strategy (Kautex packaging guideline) using PackAssistant software
Design the racks for finished goods and semi finished goods for new programs according to Kautex guidelines and FM Global restrictions
Internal route design (movement to POU)
External route design freight cost calculation
Be in contact with customer to understand specifications and implement them
Provide quotes within deadline from Quotation Team
Interface between Quotation Team and C&FT Analyst
Information flow design: labeling back flushing sequencing EDI ...
Be contact person to suppliers to understand delivery packaging production concepts at their facilities
Best practice sharing across the plants
