Benefits at Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services: IT Support Specialist A typical day in the life of an IT Support Specialist involves fielding IT support questions from Agency staff conducting support calls or Zoom meetings as well as inperson assistance when needed and utilizing our web help desk application to enter support requests and update via notes. You will be performing hardware tasks like hooking up monitors and connecting equipment to systems and will be utilizing an agencyprovided iPhone and laptop to conduct tasks. You will also perform computer upgrades/replacements as well as repair laptop/iPhone issues by troubleshooting and ordering required parts.
You will work as a team of three. There will be a rotation of helpdesk coverage. When on the helpdesk you will have the option to work from home. When completing workstation support you will be required to work in the office. Job Duties (Summary): - Installs configures redeploys and documents workstations printers and software to meet agency needs
- Troubleshoots complex technical issues using knowledge creativity and problemsolving skills
- Serves as the first point of contact for IT support; resolves hardware software network and phonerelated issues
- Provides user support via phone remote access or inperson; offers courteous customer education and service
- Coordinates and implements hardware and software changes including OS upgrades
- Analyzes and documents workstation issues; identifies trends and recommends solutions
- Travels between agency sites to support users and understand their IT needs
- Maintains advanced IT knowledge; supports network connectivity and assists with projects
- Demonstrates reliability teamwork and cooperation
- Performs other duties as assigned

Employees are expected to travel within the county to meet with individuals and attend inoffice meetings as needed. The flexibility to work from home is available when job duties allow.
