High School diploma is required. College degree in aircraft maintenance or equivalent ispreferred.
Minimum of eight (8) years experience in the aerospace(helicopter) industry.
Minimum Five (5) years experience in aircraft maintenancefor the CH146 (Bell 412) with knowledge in vibration investigation.
Knowledge of monitoring systems respectingdevelopment integration usage data management conducting studies investigative analyses.
Experience in working with aerospace vendors and / or agencies and the Department of National Defence would be a definite asset.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows.
Experience with Salesforce would be an asset.
Functional knowledge of English.
Proactive regular and consistent communication skills in English. French language ability would be an asset.
Available to travel 20% in Canada.
SECURITY CLEARANCE
Incumbent must obtain and maintain NATO Secret security clearance issued by the Public Services and Procurement Canadas Contract Security Program (CSP) and BTCL security officers.

Summary of job description
This position is located on a Canadian Forces CH146 Base (specific location to be determined).
The Health Usage Monitoring System (HUMS) First Line Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of the CH146 fleet HUMS program including the maintenance and logistical coordination of all related equipment as well as delivering formal training to aircraft technicians. As part of an integral team the HUMS First Line Specialist will be reporting to the Bell Textron Canada ltee (BTCL) Field Services Supervisor.
Provide call centre support
Maintain the fleet MPGS database
Track and report on the provision of HUMS first line support assistance
Create detailed HUMS Aircraft Induction Reports for aircraft entering scheduled maintenance
Create detailed HUMS Power Section Reports for power sections being returned to 3rd line repair facilities
Assess requirements for change to the HUMS program
Assist in receiving reviewing and investigating reports on HUMS system discrepancies
Aide in the transition to GLLE and a new vibration analysis program.
Conduct HUMS System Administrator courses
Conduct Rotor Track & Balance courses
Develop new courses related to vibrations investigation
Report hardware software and technical publication issues and provides technical expertise on resolutions
Track locations of equipment; system reliability and spares availability
Manage common pool of deployable HUMS kits
Perform first line troubleshooting and repair for the MDAU and DRU
Assist in written technical correspondence between BTCL and the Department of National Defence (DND) (Letters minutes trip reports etc )
Attend meetings conferences and symposiums
Carry out administrative duties regarding temporary duties and training
Provide HUMS support to Field Services team during aircraft acceptance.
Provide training and assistance to contracted maintenance facilities.
