The Opportunity:

The Global Medical Collaboration Leader (GMCL) is a medical fieldbased role working across countries and affiliates to accelerate the development and delivery of medicines to patients through effective medical customer engagement across the lifecycle of a molecule/Disease Area (Neuroscience). The GMCL:

• Acts as a strategic fieldbased medical partner for global teams and affiliate colleagues

• Understands the needs and supports strategic and tactical planning across the Disease Area (DA) lifecycle

• Serves as an abovecountry medical expert establishing scientific collaborations and valuebased partnerships

• Supports medicines and disease areas from early development through to postapproval

What will you be working on:

As a fieldbasedGMCL you will have 5 key responsibilities but not limited to:

Develop and Facilitate External Network & Relationships Championing ONE Roche

• Establish and maintain valued relationships with key external stakeholders acting as the face of Roche and ambassador in new Disease Areas

• Drive scientific knowledge exchange and medical education activities identifying opportunities for medical initiatives and partnerships to support the ICX strategy for optimal customer experience

• Execute activities with customer centricity staying updated on relevant developments and trends including Digital Health and personalized medicine

Engage Educate and Partner with Investigators to Expedite Clinical Program Delivery

• Work closely with global and affiliate teams to ensure coordinated identification selection and engagement of clinical trial sites championing a ONE ROCHE approach

• Drive scientific engagement with clinical trial sites to support patient recruitment and retention while suggesting innovative approaches to design recruitment and data collection

• Gather investigator feedback to optimize clinical development performance and customer experience contributing to identifying data gaps and supporting access activities

Provide RealTime Insights and GroundLevel Understanding of Disease Area Across Countries

• Partner with internal colleagues to define the insights collection strategy and execute activities to address knowledge gaps through various methods such as advisory boards and external surveys

• Map and profile external stakeholders to inform and build engagement plans aligned with customer needs and preferences including research and collaboration interests

• Build a comprehensive understanding of the local environment proactively updating the organization on disease area developments competitive landscape clinical practices and patient/carer experiences

Enhance Launch Readiness and Support Treatment Access in Assigned Countries

• Act as a disease area champion supporting affiliate engagement and training activities to accelerate understanding of the disease area ecosystem and align with global strategy

• Support and drive local implementation of fieldbased activities within the Integrated Strategy Plan in collaboration with global and affiliate colleagues

• Serve as an abovecountry medical enabler engaging with TAEs sharing medical expertise training local staff and facilitating relationships to support launch and access in affiliates

Optimize Customer Experience and Enhance GMC Innovation and Performance

• Foster innovation collaboration and entrepreneurial spirit to enhance customer engagement and experience while contributing to a psychologically safe and feedbackrich working environment

• Ensure efficient collaboration sharing best practices and maintains high scientific standards by supporting onboarding and continuous learning activities for team members

Who you are:

You are a driven individual with strong commercial acumen who thrives working in an empowered dynamic and agile working environment and able to understand relationships create purposeful strong internal/external collaborations with key stakeholders to enable better outcomes for customers.

You have:

• Master Degree in science or related field; Postgraduate Degree (PhD PharmD MSc MD MBA) a plus.

• Significant experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry at global/regional level including Medical Affairs Clinical / Product Development or Early Development.

• Previous significant experience in a global or local medical/scientific field customerfacing role preferred.

• Track record of scientific collaborations with external experts and/or collaborative groups.

• Fluency in written and spoken English needed; additional language fluency preferred but not mandatory.

• Deep scientific knowledge of the assigned Disease Area and relevant drug development process knowledge including regulatory requirements trends and drug approval (preferred)

• Solid knowledge of drug safety/pharmacovigilance and Roche internal SOPs related to drug safety; role requires National and some International travel.

With your excellent communication and project management skills you are able to work in virtual environments and across diverse geographic areas. You have entrepreneurial mindset with strong problemsolving influencing and negotiating skills; flexibility to change between topics as needed.

This fieldbased role may require Interstate and/or international travel. Having a valid driving license and the full eligibility to live and work in Australia is necessary as visa and/or relocation support is not available for this role.
