The opportunity
An exciting opportunity to join the Group Compliance team. Were looking for a motivated and detailoriented individual to join QBE as a Manager Monitoring Group Compliance where you will provide assurance and support in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the evolution of compliance practices across a broad range of corporate functions using data technology and agile methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Your new role
Lead deep dive compliance reviews and provide strategic recommendations based on findings
Design and implement a rapid review methodology using agile practices (sprints standups retros)
Lead reviews of records in the Risk Management System including the management of risks and controls selfassessments and issues and incidents
Identify and implement opportunities to uplift oversight through automation and live dashboards
Lead creation and adoption of realtime data dashboards to support decisionmaking
Drive automation of manual compliance tasks to improve operational efficiency
Conduct periodic AIenhanced reviews of personal data and staff expenses to ensure policy compliance
About you
Prior experience working in compliance risk management or audit functions.
Exposure to regulatory environmentsexperience within insurance or financial services is a plus
Strong analytical skills and a passion for process improvement and innovation
Familiarity with agile practices and data visualisation and automation tools (e.g. Power BI)
Proven ability to work crossfunctionally and influence change in a large matrix organisation
Experience using AI or automation tools (e.g. Power Automate)
