MNL is a fullservice ecological restoration company. We provide decades of experience knowledge industry leadership and a variety of services. Our services range from backyard native seeding to largescale restoration bioengineering and everything in between. MNL is also an industry leader in the production of native plants seed and other products necessary for habitat restoration.
MNLs Greenhouse division is proud to have produced and provided more than two million native perennials to be introduced into local ecosystems. On an annual basis our passionate team will seed grow and distribute 150 species each of which fit a unique and valuable niche in developing habitats. A position as Greenhouse Operations Technician at MNL will provide handson experience in facilitating the production and distribution of native plants while working in an outdoor and greenhouse setting alongside a supportive team of native plant enthusiasts.
Seasonal positions run from April to September with staggering start and end dates in accommodation for applicants available only through summer months. Though it is necessary to maintain a regular work schedule approved by their supervisor applicants may enjoy defining their set schedule to accommodate other obligations. There is availability for Part Time Full Time and potentially overtime for those interested. Please provide preference for seasonality and scheduling in application. Weekend availability is encouraged and may be prioritized.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As our Greenhouse division grows so do our production facilities. We have the fun and interesting challenge of inventing and fabricating new tools and equipment; as well as designing and installing the layout for future product spaces. Our team would benefit greatly from an imaginative and innovative handyperson to assist in developing our operation.
In addition to facilities maintenance and development this position would utilize company vehicles to engage in plant deliveries. MNL fulfills orders for native plants and seed to a diverse assortment of clients ranging from: Government entities to Garden Centers to Landscape Contractors. As a delivery driver you will not only be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of our product; you will also be a representative of our team as you meet and assist our clients at their respective job sites.
