Job Description
Job Title: Safety Professional - Safety Operations
Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Duration: 12 Months (Overtime Available)
Location: Milan IL 61264
Shift: 1st Shift - Monday through Friday 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Description:
Entry-level safety role focusing on injury and illness reporting compliance with safety regulations and hazard elimination. Apply safety principles to manage and improve workplace safety processes and procedures.
Duties:
- Identify and correct safety hazards.
- Develop and implement safety programs.
- Conduct audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Analyze EHS metrics for improvements.
- Review new products and processes for safety.
- Spend 50% of shift on the warehouse floor for safety observations and training.
Requirements:
- Experience in warehousing/manufacturing safety.
- Safety degree or strong safety experience.
- Proficient in MS Office; CSP preferred.
- Metatarsals required for the first day.
- No visa sponsorship available.
Standout Qualities:
- Occupational safety experience.
- OSHA ten-hour or thirty-hour certification.
- No recent grads.
