Job Description
We are seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a 13weeks travel/contract assignment in Winchester MA 01890.
Job Details:
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2160 $2340
- Shift: Evening 3:00pm start
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound examinations including abdomen pelvis transvaginal (TV) small parts deep vein thrombosis (DVT) studies and obstetrical scans (1st and 3rd trimester).
- Conduct biophysical profiles (BPP) and produce highquality diagnostic images.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
- Accurately document findings and maintain proper records.
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and report malfunctions or issues.
- Adhere to infection control safety standards and hospital protocols.
- Provide exceptional patient care and maintain professional conduct at all times.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in diagnostic ultrasound; general experience preferred.
- Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage patient caseloads efficiently.
- Strong knowledge and handson experience with abdomen pelvis TV small parts DVT and OB (1st and 3rd trimester) ultrasound procedures including BPP.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
