Job Description

Job Title: Automation Engineer

Department: Automation
Location: To be specified
Reporting To: Automation Manager


Job Description:

  • Develop PLC logic and SCADA screens based on control philosophy IO list and P&ID diagrams provided.

  • Support the design team with configuration and IO list preparation/allocation.

  • Coordinate with the execution team to plan and meet project deadlines.

  • Conduct and coordinate Hardware FAT and Software FAT with end users.

  • Ensure closure of any punch points identified during FAT.

  • Assign and oversee machinelevel project tasks to trainees.

  • Perform site commissioning of machinelevel automation systems.

  • Attend service calls related to PLC issues coordinate with clients troubleshoot and submit signed service reports to accounts for billing.

  • Handle customer calls and attempt to convert service calls into service orders or new projects.

  • Backup and archive SFAT and final site data securely.

  • Train and support junior team members regularly.

  • Maintain strong client relationships and explore AMC spares and service order opportunities.

  • Submit daily work reports to the reporting manager.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.



Requirements

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma / B.E. in Electrical Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering

  • Experience: 2 5 years in industrial automation PLC programming and SCADA system integration

  • Technical Skills:

    • Handson experience in PLC logic development (Siemens AllenBradley Mitsubishi etc.)

    • SCADA screen development and HMI configuration

    • Understanding of IO lists control philosophy and P&ID diagrams

    • Field commissioning and FAT procedures

    • Familiarity with electrical drawings and industrial control systems

  • Other Skills:

    • Strong communication and clienthandling skills

    • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve onsite technical issues

    • Team coordination and training capability

    • Documentation and reporting proficiency

Requirements: Education: Graduate in Engineering or related discipline Experience: Minimum 3 years in the LT/HT panel manufacturing industry Skills: Strong knowledge of production planning in electrical panel manufacturing Hands-on experience in customer coordination and contract execution Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Project tracking tools) Good organizational and documentation skills Strong communication and follow-up ability
