What you will do

We are seeking a driven Institutional Sales professional to join our Business Development team at PGIM Private Alternatives as a Senior Associate. Reporting to the Regional Head this role involves supporting and executing business development activities targeting institutional investors across the U.S. West and Mountain West regions. This position offers the opportunity to impact our organization significantly by leveraging your expertise in private market investments. PGIM Private Alternatives manages over $300 billion in private alternatives strategies across real estate private credit private equity secondaries agriculture and infrastructure.

This role is based in San Francisco where we are working a hybrid schedule.

What you can expect

  • Actively participate in existing client meetings and prospect sales pitches; oversee due diligence and client onboarding process
  • Maintain consultative discussions with clients acting as a strategic advisor and communicating PGIMs product offerings
  • Work closely with the head of the U.S. West and Mountain West region to create and execute a business plan to target institutional clients and consultants
  • Collaborate with investment professionals to provide insights from investor discussions and contribute to product development
  • Maintain and manage client communication databases
  • Partner with Investor Services team to oversee the distribution of client communications and portfolio reports to clients and prospects
  • Contribute to the development and production of client materials including but not limited to pitch books RFPs and RFIs as well as the coordination of client events
  • Assist with a variety of special projects

What you will bring

  • Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years experience in private markets investment or institutional sales
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings
  • Series 7 and 63 FINRA licenses (or willingness to obtain immediately upon hiring)

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $165000 to $225000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location candidate experience and skills.
