You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are looking to add an Account Executive (AE) to our Commercial Sales team. Reporting to the Director of Sales you will be in a semifull cycle role taking discovery calls to closed won deals. You will work with a range of buyers in varying functional areas but will primarily focus on IT Development Operations (DevOps) and Ecommerce buyers.
Our AE team is supported by a Business Development team handling both inbound leads and outbound prospects. We generate a substantial amount of pipeline through our SaaS marketplace listings (Atlassian Github Shopify etc.) but you will need to supplement this by generating additional opportunities to ensure you exceed quota.
Prospecting into your current customer base and deploying an outbound strategy to generate interest from net new accounts will be critical to your success. There is a massive opportunity to capitalize on specific cloud migration shifts (Jira EOL) that are currently underway in the market. We are also looking to capitalize on new ecosystems & platforms that we are entering (). For the right person the potential to capitalize on this moment in time is limitless.
Your responsibilities will include:
Driving net new revenue for the business
Crossselling newly signed customers within a defined time period after closing
Managing the sales process from discovery through closing steps (Infosec Legal etc.)
Generating interest from other key decision makers within different functional areas of a prospect/customers organization to help grow opportunities
Collaborating with Sales Engineering to deliver best in class demos and guided testing
Generating pipeline from both warm and cold prospecting efforts
Keeping your deals updated daily in the CRM (Salesforce)
Supporting the Product team as you receive feedback from prospects to align with product strategy and direction
Engaging our Partnerships team to support coselling through agencies/MSPs
Attend industry and customer events as needed
Qualifications :
We are looking for candidates who have at least 2 years of closing experience in B2B SaaS environment as an Account Executive with demonstrated outbound prospecting experience.
You are also:
Consistent quota achiever
Naturally curious with excellent discovery and closing skills
Motivated and creative find alternative paths when barriers present themselves
Energized by ambiguity and can create structure in a dynamic fastpaced environment
*Experience selling to IT/DevOps a plus but not critical
