Job Description

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting Business Administration or closely related field AND:
  • 36 months experience in Finance Accounting or closely related field to include 12 months managerial or supervisory experience.

Equivalency/Substitution:Experience or a combination of education & related experience can be considered in lieu of degree. A onetoone ratio is used to determine the number of years of experience required in place of a degree.

Supervision:

  • 2 Norman Employees
  • 2 HSC Employees

At the University of Oklahoma we change further this mission the university is seeking a Human Resources Business Manager to provide strategic leadership in driving operational excellence and ensuring sound financial stewardship across the department. This role directly supports theUniversityStrategic Plan by overseeing and managing the financial and operational functions of the Human Resources department.

This position provides strategic and daytoday leadership in budget planning financial analysis compliance monitoring and administrative operations. The Business Manager also ensures fiscal accountability supports operational efficiency and serves as a key liaison between departmental leadership and internal/external stakeholders laying the foundation for sustainable growth innovation and longterm impact across the university.
