The New Products and Adjacencies (NPA) team at GE Aerospace is dedicated to the pursuit and execution of business related to advanced military platforms and the evaluation of opportunities in emerging markets. Role Summary: As a Systems Engineer on the NPA team you will engage in technical activities encompassing the design development integration and testing of networking and remote data IO applications. Your work will be pivotal in shaping the future of advanced military platforms.
Essential Responsibilities
In this role you will:
Generate and allocate system functional requirements into efficient architectures using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
Validate and verify system requirements including the initial integration of software and hardware.
Develop innovative technical solutions leveraging the full capabilities of GE Aviation Systems for development programs and proposals.
Collaborate with customer engineering organizations to define and shape requirements for future platforms and systems.
Develop new tools to support MBSE objectives.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science or a related field from an accredited university or college.
At least 8 years of experience in MBSE engineering development.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.
Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance.

Desired Characteristics
Knowledge of GE Aviation systems development processes.
Experience with software tools such Dimensions RTC Git Windchill.
Proficiency in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using SysML in Cameo/NoMagic tool for the design and verification of avionicsbased systems.
Experience with AADL.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python JavaScript Groovy Perl Bash.
Knowledge of key aspects of developing and maintaining a Product Line.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a dynamic environment.
The base pay range for this position is $121500..00 . The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factorsincluding the candidates experience education and skill set.This position is also eligiblefor an annual discretionary bonus based on apercentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan.This posting isexpected to close on 4/1/25.
