This role is parttime at 7 hours per week and will include split shifts.
The Assistant Coach will assist in developing and administering and effective Squad Program for the lowerlevel competitive squads. The position works closely with the Head Coach and the Aquatics team.
About you
You enjoy swimming love working with children through to adult athletes and want to teach the skills and attributes of competitive swimming and water safety to others.
The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to communicate interact and build effective relationships with both internal and external parties that have an invested interest in the program. The applicant will demonstrate the ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the Aquatics team.

Commencing Salary; $30.00 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation.
This position has been identified as a ChildRelated position under Child Protection laws in NSW. To be eligible to apply you are required to provide Council with a valid Working with Children Check Number.
You will be required to undertake employment checks which may include a Criminal History Check Qualification Check Working with Children Check Medical Declaration and/or a Functional Test as relevant to the position for which you have applied. Where a Criminal History Check is required and has returned a result that indicates disclosable court outcomes you will be required to provide a copy of the report to Penrith City Council for review in order to progress through the recruitment process.
