Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a 1st Shift Facilities Maintenance Supervisor for our company JBS that is located in Mason Ohio. The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for supervision of all maintenance aspects of the facility including facility grounds building refrigeration HVAC and office areas. Takes direction from Maintenance Manager on scheduling facility preparation and PM execution. Direct supervisor for assigned employees. Manages maintenance personnel for daytoday control of assigned department activities according to prescribed schedules priorities facility flow and processing specifications to ensure facility efficiencies are met. Evaluates assigned work performance and takes corrective action. Leads coaches and trains assigned personnel on work standards and ensures said standards are being followed constantly. Are expected to use tools as required to resolve issues.

Responsibilities:

• Supervises and performs highly diversified duties with respect to production and facility equipment/systems.
• Supervises and installs replacement motors pumps drives belts filters gears chains and valves on process equipment facility equipment and forklifts.
• Troubleshoots pneumatic electric pneumatic and hydraulic machine problems and makes necessary repairs.
• Performs repairs to machines involving machine guarding bolt replacement and breakdowns due to mechanical wear.
• Welds machine components.
• Performs preventative maintenance tasks on facility equipment.
• Handles installations including hooking up air water gas and the alignment and leveling of equipment.
• In the event of an electrical emergency you must be able to hook up and start generation system safely.
• Maintain the WWPT facility to operate within parameters safely.
• Resolves all maintenance and mechanical problems promptly with minimal disruption to production schedules.
• Performs highly diversified duties to install and maintain facility grounds building and other facility equipment.
• Provides leadership for Maintenance technicians performing preventative maintenance equipment installs parts replacement troubleshooting equipment etc.
• Manages service and repair of refrigeration systems and equipment such as condensing units compressors and evaporators.
• Manages outside contractors to perform repairs on failed machinery and equipment.
• Understand the tools and equipment needed to do each job.
• Understands and determines when and what type of maintenance is needed.
• Determines causes of operating errors and possesses ability to tell when something is likely to go wrong before downtime occurs.
• Inspects or tests damaged machine parts and marks defective areas or advises Manager of needs for repair.
• Leads equipment installations including hooking up air water gas and the alignment and leveling of equipment.
• Completes maintenance recordkeeping.
• Keeps record of all work performed.
• Updates maintenance history logs and completes the required paperwork.
• Accounts for equipment used for maintenance and repairs.
• Understands and follows the company GMP policy.
• Understands and follows the company safety rules.
• May be required to work long hours and weekends as needed.
• May assume other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: (pick applicable)

• High School Diploma or equivalent certification
• At least 4 years of industrial maintenance experience required
• Strong electrical hydraulic pneumatic mechanical industrial PLC and HVAC experience
• AAS degree in mechanical electrical or industrial maintenance preferred
• Ability to speak read and write English
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Good math skills
• Must be wellorganized with good attention to detail
• Display strong work ethics and positive attitude
• Adaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction and work cooperation with others
• Must maintain a helpful and professional attitude and appearance
• Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

As a salaried position with the company you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities to attend Company events or as a representative of the Company in other situations. • Benefits: Vision Medical and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

• Base salary range of $69135$83999
• Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Companys annual bonus plan the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program.
